do your job and get promoted? lol
Deloitte consulting or advisory?
Jump ship
People really out here thinking 1 YOE is 6 figures valuable 🤔
Wait another year, absorb knowledge and then jump ship
^this is how you crash and burn and can get stuck in limbo for the rest of your career. The best advice I’ve gotten while exploring other options (not jobs for financial gains) is “a successful career is built methodically over time” and “the money will come if you’re good at your job” both from very very successful people at a top PE firm
Worry about 100-120k at 3YOE. Fastest way to get a nice bump is move firms but you’re super young so be careful of making stupid career moves for the sake of short term financial gain
Do good work
Time / experience is the only way bruh
That’s the answer I didn’t want to see aha. Seems like the hard truth
Get more experience and make yourself more valuable... I don’t know what else to say.
Yea basically. In my mind, fast promotion and fast growth sounds great only if you truly qualify. There’s nothing worst than speeding to the top then realize you’re not ready for it and crash.
Competing offers after proving your worth.
You’ll make 100k once you get promoted to C
Not outside T1 cities
“There’s no compression algorithm for experience”
Technical skills at a tech company
Rising Star
If you’re in Strat you’ll get to $100k moving to CL10
Get promoted once and you’ll probably be pretty darn close to it lol
And then, jump ship and chill at a 9-5. Speaking from experience, once you go over 120k lifestyle change is very minimal.
