I manage symptoms with regular cannabis usage, and have recently backed off the adderall. Has anyone else found success with cannabis?

What are your symptoms like when using cannabis? How does it help?

It’s like putting sunglasses on my brain. Things feel less aggravating, more relaxed, better impulse control. Trade-off is experiencing more short-term memory hiccups

What dosage are you taking during the daytime? I haven’t been using it during the day time but am on an almost 1:1 softgel for the nights I can seem to settle. But you’ve piqued my interest and being WFH I think there is a good opportunity to play around with some options

Hi Folks,
I am working for NetApp Client, Bangalore however My base Location is Hyderabad, and I have heard from a couple of NetApp Employees that they are planning to resume offices by May.
My questions are:
1. If UST is planning to bring employees back to office?
2. If they call will I be asked to relocate to Bangalore as my client's location is Bangalore or will I be working from Hyderabad only?

PS: My manager has left the organisation and I am the sole person from UST in my project.

Hiya - relatively new fincrime analyst here almost a year on the job, but am wondering whether anyone had any recommendations for pivoting into tech/where to go? Currently also studying a part time MSc in CompSci and have been stonewalled in terms of progression/learning opportunities and am just wondering if anyone had any advice?

Anyone really struggle with lectures? I find it challenging to do online trainings when I have to listen to an hour of a recording of someone talking over a PPT.

If anyone has strategies to make things like this more bearable I’m all ears! 🙏🏼

Newly diagnosed & medicated and new to consulting.
I’m great with clients but getting bad evaluations because I’m slow to produce work and don’t take time to communicate status.
I’m trying really hard but I keep getting stuck in perfection loops and scared to share things before they’re perfect.

Did you struggle with this & find a way to improve? I’m terrified I’m going to get counseled out, but I love this job so much.

I started taking Adderal, 2.5 g which is not really a lot. It didn’t really help with my focus, instead I felt restless and somehow nervous and really thirsty. And it made me clench my teeth. Trouble waking up? Set an alarm, take your meds, go back to sleep, and wake up feeling ready for the day!

I read this tip in another ADHD forum yesterday. Someone recommending setting a “first” alarm and taking medicine and then sleeping in a bit and when your second alarm goes off you’ll feel more awake. I tried it this morning and it was great! 7:15 alarm went off and I rolled over and grabbed my meds and water. Went back to sleep and at 8 when I needed to get up I felt so much more awake!!!

I've been dragging writing this dissertation FOREVER (data collected back in 2018). In the past 5 years I’ve been a doctoral student , I have never focused on writing for more than 3 hours a day. I think I can finish this eventually.

Long one - one of my best friends (10+ years) and I had a drink last week, I told her of my recent ADHD diagnosis and how we had noticed the generational trend (my mum & grandad as very similar symptoms wise and they acknowledge this, but not diagnosed). The friend mentioned her therapist has suggested she may had ADHD (inattentive type) - she then told me a few things like how she's absolutely neurotypical and she's never associated herself with neurodiversity etc, she made a ... Tbc

Do you find that consulting is a good fit for ADHD? You get a bench, lots of chances to improve your work style and learn what you're good at. I have an exit opportunity with FAANG available and I'm scared to take it. I just got rolled off my project cause I kept missing due dates. What if I need to spend more time in consulting so I can learn how to control my Adhd?
