I may be traveling more for work in the coming months. I’ve been told to “pick and airline and get a mileage credit card.” Obviously out of ORD it’s between American and United. Which do you prefer and why? Looking for awesome perks and rewards, user friendly apps, great service and staff, cleanliness of planes etc. Also any tips for making it easier on my kiddos 12 and 7. THANKS!

I prefer United and have been treated well. Loyalty matters

Thank you!

It’s all about hub cities to me for traveling, not the airlines. How can you get to the most frequently traveled cities with the least about of layovers and plane changes.

Thanks! That definitely makes sense.

210 Base 40K Joining Bonus and 40K RSU
9 to 11% Bonus

The base is not changing much for me. I am Senior Managing Consultant at IBM.

Never saw IBM giving 10% bonus for last 10 years anyway. But heard Accenture gives 15K roughly to SM.

Tried to negotiate but Accenture is not willing to change base. They added 10K in RSU and Joining to make 40 each.

Looking for a nice looking, sturdy, comfortable to carry travel duffel with a cross body strap. I always travel with my Louis Vuitton Keepall 55 bandoulière as a carry on, with mainly my shoes and handbags in it - but i took her in to LV for a repair and due to supply issues she will sadly not be back in time for my trip to Italy in September. (The repair may take 10 months, WTF!) I would appreciate any recommendations, and would love for it to be similar in size to the Keepall 55.

Hi Fishes,

My last working date with TCS is on 4th March 2022 and now they are offering me 80% hike and Canada onsite opportunity and telling that will initiate visa as soon as I take resignation back and also ready to provide written confirmation. On the other hand I have an offer from IBM of 120% hike fixed and performance bonus would be there which I am not considering now.

Which one would be better? please suggest based on your knowledge and experience.

Quite new to this. I’ll be moving to Dubai in a month and I got to know that my education documents need to be attested before the company can apply for visa. I’ve been trying to get hold of this as information is not consistent. Do I need to have MOFA Attestation in addition to the UAE Embassy Attestation from home country or will that be managed by the company in UAE itself?

So I turn it off and play it off as a let's see if this will help. She calmed down and all was well. Then, she started fussing again so MIL went back up...and turned the light on. Didn't take her out of the crib or anything, just turned the light on and patted her back. Turn the damn light off and keep it off.
