Atlanta! Not “fully” walkable like an NYC or some others, but The BeltLine has made the city much more accessible. Atlanta is full of little neighborhood pockets. Check out Inman Park, Grant Park, some spots in Midtown near Piedmont. Search along The BeltLine and you’ll find some gems.
Definitely can’t compete with the NYC job market, but it’s a great place for families and the agency scene seemed to be growing a bit pre-COVID (BBDO, FitzCo, Digitas, Iris, Chemistry, Dagger, The Annex, Havas, Moxie).

It’s a rough city to live in if you are not a native. Very closed community. The weather has a lot to do with it. Get out! I am in New York and very happy. Everything you would ever want is outside your door. As long as you truly want diversity and a thriving community and not a big house or apartment then NYC is the place. Lots of different places to live in the 5 boroughs that are affordable and even Manhattan if you do t have to be in a doorman building.
