Have a formal offer at Citi for 120K as an AVP in the NY office. Currently making 92K at my current role where I feel there’s not much room to grow anymore. Is this a fair offer? I currently WFH pretty much full time at my current role which has been amazing, but it seems like Citi would require me to be there 2-3 days in the office per week - and this is something I’m very hesitant about. Thoughts on how to approach this?

No, the hiring is likely all sent through the recruiter. If she likes you and she puts in a good word then you’re getting hired, bc it’s way less work for the recruiters and the recruiters want the people they hire for to be happy.
Mention in your email that she sent you to the recruiter

She could have had her agency’s internal recruiter reach out to you. That’s typically what would happen.
But it might be different at a small shop that doesn’t have their own internal recruiters. Which is what I assume is the case in your instance?
Correct!
It could be that the "recruiter" is also a staffing agency that will handle paying you so the company doesn't have to do it directly and can thus avoid benefits, unemployment, etc. I've worked at several places where you had to go through the recruiter/ staffing agency, they couldn't just hire you directly. It was easier for the company to hire out staffing/recruiting so they just had to pay that agency once a month versus keeping track of multiple different freelancers with different contracts, rates, etc. They could also just hire out the recruiting process if they don't have internal recruiters to vet people, handle paperwork, etc.
It’s standard procedure, she probably can’t just hire you.
Yep this. Some companies have deals in place with specific recruiters.
Internal recruiter or external?
It’s an external recruiter. The process is new and she asked me to reach out to them.
