Nowadays, most of the service based companies are toughening their interviews and even after we clear the company level interview, we are being challenged with both the internal project interviews and client interviews.
This is being a red tape against getting a fair work opportunity.
Why are the orgs moving towards such hard selection process nowadays ?

Ugh, I am four business days past my loop interview and tomorrow is five, which is their maximum number of days they said they would take to make a decision. I’m trying to be optimistic, like, if they unanimously didn’t want me they probably would have told me sooner. But who knows?! I feel like my mind is my worst enemy. I have had a successful career with my current company. I started as a brand new Engineer and now I’m head of a 40+ people department. My boss (VP for the region) has been mentoring me to continue going up the ladder, but I always have these self-sabotage thoughts telling me that I’m not good enough and that I’m not as smart as people think I am. Anybody else here with Impostor Syndrome? Tips to get over this?
