I need a career change and I could use some advice.
I know the industry I want to work in (Entertainment, Film&TV) but I’m having difficulty choosing positions to apply for.
I have a BSc in Economics for Arts, Culture and Comms (focused on the film industry), 7 years of experience in a big name news channel (operations dept) and I speak 7 languages (at different fluency levels).
Are there any specific positions that would most benefit from multilingualism where that would give me a boost? Thx

Have you considered something like being a news anchor? Or working for a big company such as CNN? I'm sure with your qualifications, they would kill to have you working for them.

This may sound weird, but what about social media? I know platforms like TikTok have the audience for someone like you. With your educational background and the fact that you speak 7 languages, you could go very viral very quickly.

Have you considered doing any translation work, perhaps for TV/movie scripts or video games? With as many languages as you know, it could be nice to leverage them in this way.

Seeing everything you tell me I feel that you are the perfect candidate for a streaming platform that ventures to produce content from different countries, for example, Netflix or HBO max, I think it would be a very good option for you.
