I need advice.. I am supposed to be starting a new job with a one of the big 4 firms next week, but my current contract job has offered me the full-time position as well and this offer is better than the one offered by the big 4 firm. I accepted the firms offer months ago but now i have to back out last minute and i feel terrible about it. How should i communicate this to them?

Getting CTC offer for 18lpa with deduction of epf 42000 included. My expectation given was 18-20 lpa but how can I negotiate for more ? It's a service based company and they donot have any max compensation band for the role they are open to negotiate.( I am getting almost 38% hike on my last CTC which was around 13lpa. Plus i have to give back a retention bonus of 2lpa to my current company.) On what reason can i negotiate for more?

I have a good belief to believe I, and others of my kind are being systemically discriminated against at work. There was a particular incident recently that affected me. I am the in house employment counsel for the company - and now feel like I am in a weird position. Can I file an EEO complaint against my client, or do they just get to do whatever they want to me? I interviewed with the client and it has been a couple of weeks since I’ve heard from the hiring manager (3 weeks since 2nd interview). I’ve already informed my engagement team. I was told that they would inform me if there was a decision made and I’ve known previously that the offering process at this company can take up to a month. In the past, when I was used a couple of a agencies for our hiring, it was a pretty rough experience. Mostly there was a big disconnect between what we told the recruiters we were looking for (in writing, in person & over the phone) & what the job was, and what the recruiters told the candidates. I just received an offer from Marqeta to join the HR team.

Total comp is great, benefits package is great, I would love to be able to accept but I have some serious concerns:
- Hiring manager described company as “hot mess” to me multiple times
- Another team member told me “50% of days are bad days”
- one manager openly said no, she does not have a good balance when I asked about work/life balance
