I need advice on how to go about switching firms in the “right” way. I’m a 5th year associate working in a small (3-5) civil firm in the southeast and I’ve been approached by another firm in town that does the same type of work. The new place is sending a written offer this week, but I expect it will be one I’d be a fool to pass on. Anyway, what’s the best way to (a) inform my bosses, (b) “take” clients with me, and (c) is taking a shared paralegal too much, or just part of the game?

Hi! I’m a young professional with less than 2 years experience, started a new job 1.5 months ago. I’m having quite some difficulties on balancing out my response time to tasks. While I act incredibly fast if not immediately with some, I sometimes take 1-2 weeks with couple of hours worthy ones. Sometimes I ignore, procrastinate or simply other more urgent things come up to increase the delay. Also I work with 3 managers in my team which doesn’t help with expectations nor guidance. Any tips pls?
