Does anyone at Rutgers know where I can find a flexible part-time job for students on campus? I only found two campus positions on handshake and haven’t heard back from either yet. I feel like there has to be a lot more out there than what I’ve seen on handshake
Something similar to the digital classroom support specialist or tech help desk would be great. I consider myself tech savvy

I’m 13 years tax in Big 4 and can I just say, a partner told me once that everyone in tax are miserable. I should have listened to him. There’s a whole thread where people said that if they could go back they wouldn’t do tax again, and definitely wouldn’t let their kids do tax. Unless you love tax, don’t do it. If you want to chat, send me a DM. I feel that part of my calling / public service is to tell people to not go into tax. Don’t say you weren’t warned.
PwC, two years is easy to knock out given a free Masters degree and the CPA…you can pivot to a more defined role after the 18 months.
What are your long-term ambitions? If you plan on sticking with Accounting, nothing opens doors faster than a Big4 stint. If you plan on investment/asset management, possibly actuarial science, then Hartford may be a stronger choice.
Pwc
It all depends on who your boss is does not matter if it is PWC or Enron, sorry Hartford. In Hartford they emphasis on Diversity Violation which means if someone from another country does any mistake you should be silent and not report. If you are a US citizen hartford is not the company I would join.

I would do Hartford Portfolio Analyst. Are you overseeing their investment portfolio? I know investment grade bond is considered boring but it’s still market making 😃
Yes, the portfolio analyst I would over see their investment portfolio and other finance duties as well.
If getting your degree is a concern The Hartford offers tuition reimbursement. It's also an excellent choice for those looking to grow their careers. Good luck!
What is the amount annually for the tuition reimbursement at The Hartford? I think Travelers cap it at $5k
