Hi All,
Need suggestions here. Please help me out. I was interviewed with IBM and got selected. Waiting for offer letter. Meanwhile got selected in another company and got offer too. Put down my ppr. Offer from another company is way beyond than IBM almost 22% more in terms of fixed. Now I’m confused that once IBM releases their offer then should I ask them to match with my holding or not ? Will they consider for negotiations? What’s your thoughts? IBM

Hello, I have received an offer from Southwest Airlines as a Associate Technology Analyst with their direct college hire program. Will be graduating in May with a degree in MIS and also have internships experience as a Business Systems analyst intern. The salary compensation started off at 66,500 but was looking for the 75k range and they got back to me saying the best they can do is 68,500. They also have a 401k company match up to 9.3%. Do you think this is a solid offer for this job market?
Any rpa developer here with CTC 20-30 LPA?

I'd focus on negotiating as high a salary as you can (while still being reasonable) and PTO. Sign on bonuses are nice, but are usually for higher level roles and are, by definition, a one off. And stock benefits are pretty rare in this business, at least in my experience.
Not sure what VP is talking about, you can def get a huge raise at your level when switching companies. I’ve been able to negotiate a sign on bonus at one agency but I think that was because they really wanted/needed me, so that’s not always possible. I’ve never even thought about stock though
Yes you can get a raise by jumping agencies, obviously… but that’s not a sign on bonus or shares. And rarely at CW level. The market is flooded.
You’ll be lucky to get a cost of living increase after a year. Nothing else at CW level.
Salary, WFH & PTO (depending on the agency policy) are the likely areas. Negotiations for bonuses, stock, relo, severance or perks at non-VP levels aren’t really a thing.
