How many apps have you sent? Interviews received? Offers? I'll start. Sent 20~ apps this weekend, no responses from most yet. Trying to slow down and make sure I thoughtfully apply to jobs I actually want/don't require 10 extra years of experience.
I’m stressed about starting my new job. I’m at 2.5 YOE in consulting and wanted to leave because of salary. I’m going to join FB as a client solutions partner and they doubled my salary but the role isn’t what I want. I don’t want to do sales but strategy/product. I’m now having stress nightmares that I sabotaged my career and now I’m getting interview requests for roles that are more my liking. Should I renege? I won’t be miserable but I’m worried about future career steps
Entering Round 3+ of interviews for a tech company that's known but pre-IPO. The coordinator tells me the next round(s) will be with "the team" and will last 3.5 hours. Pre-pandemic I was flown out to interview at some of the top 5 ad agencies for full-day interviews, but this is brand side; what could they possibly need 3.5 hours to do? Is there going to be a math section like the SATs?
What are some buzz words I should have in my resume / use in interviews when recruiting for a federal consulting position? Or any general themes I should remember to incorporate.
BCGers - Any insight/tips on how a final round interview might be different from a first round? E.g., more emphasis on the case vs. behavioral questions?
Hey I’ve been struggling with interviews lately, does anyone here out of the kindness of their heart want to do a mock interview with me? :)
Ladies, I have a dilemma. I know the choice is ultimately mine, but I wanted some input. I met my current boyfriend through my cousin and he lives in Chicago. The plan was for me to move to Chicago in the next couple of months. I planned on just continuing my job with PwC. However, I was applying for jobs in NYC and just received and offer for a company I’ve always wanted to work for. I feel like I’m going to have to make a choice between my job and my relationship. What would you do?
I’m interviewing for a marketing manager role and after speaking with the hiring manger I’m being asked to do a written assignment. The assignment is creating 4 separate strategies around different areas. This will take quite a bit of work. 1-2 strategies seems reasonable but 4 seems like a lot. I asked the recruiter how in depth they are expecting me to to go and she said “as much as I’d like to. It’s up to me and what I see fit.” Does this ask seem reasonable? Have others experienced this?

Has anyone interviewed for legal jobs at consulting firms like Bain, McKinsey, or BCG? Any tips? I'm told there will be a sort of times questionnaire of a few questions. I'm expecting consulting-type case questions, although this seems odd for a legal job.
First in person interview question: Where are you from originally and how long have you been in US 🙃
Hi Everyone, Something completely out of the blue has happened to me. I just onboarded with a company on Monday. I accepted the role three weeks ago after interviewing with and considering three other companies—- one of which was FAANG. I never heard back from FAANG and assumed I didn’t get it, until today. They called me and made me an offer. I really, really want to take the job, but I just started with my new company four days ago and on top of it negotiated a higher salary.
Does our expense policy allow making changes to flights (booking an earlier flight back)? There’s a line on DNet saying “change fees are reimbursable). Thanks in advance

My salary just got frozen @ 55.5k (SALT Tax, 1 year of experience). Should I start interviewing for other jobs? Worth it to stay 1 more year and “maybe” make senior? (PwC is 3 yrs to senior standard, 2 yr is early) I have a Master’s in Accounting, and have 1 more CPA test then I’ll be done. Not sure if I have a strong enough resume to receive decent exit opportunities as a first year associate. I’m about to have busy season again and work 60,70,80,90 hour weeks at my low salary. Please advise!!
I forgot to switch my Uber from personal to business for a ride back to hotel. It was under $25. Can I just manually add that for the expense report? Thanks
