How social do you want to be with coworkers?
Commute time & costs for VISA?
In person interaction reduces risk of being laid off if comparing those in office vs not.
What is career trajectory look like if you were there for 5-10 years.
How many different skills / tasks does each role have? Some theories that roles with more hats to wear along with personal/relational aspect are less at risk of automation.
How have both companies done in the last 5 years and last year against their industry peers? What is the industry trajectory? Easier to be in an industry or segment that is growing overall than declining or slower growth.

Wow thank you for the thorough comments/question!
I do plan to have a family one day but currently single so none of those responsibility in the short term future so I don’t think this would be too much of a decision factor.
I think the biggest worry is the two different career paths VISA would allow me to go into fintech and higher paying roles in niche space while sr financial analyst would put me in a traditional corporate finance role?
I always chased the highest compensation but it seems as I get older if chasing the highest compensation “paying” job is the most worth it but I do worry if I were to go into corporate finance role I would be giving up the “big” company life.
The fear of remote jobs being terminated definitely does exist in my mind but it seems at VISA as well the team is pretty split so not too much of a concern.
But thank you again for helping me think through!
How many Yoe?
7!
I’m not a huge fan of corporate finance roles, especially on the junior side, unless you have the ability to work on interesting projects (i.e. M&A, investments / cap allocation, etc). It can easily be an invisible role.
Of the two, I’d go with Visa or try and find something else aside from these options.
It would be under profitability projects! I think the lifestyle that it would provide might be the best which is why im leaning towards this option
Wow where is this? Banks giving out full remote opportunities?
I’ll take remote job any day
