Marsh & McLennan I am moving 2 hours from my office. My manager says i have to come 2 days to office. When i come to the office its only me and couple of other people. No one seems to care about coming to office. When i asked manager if i can work remote i was told that its for my career development. Can you guys tell in Canada which companies are offering remote opportunities?

For anyone using Khan Academy and Canvas I made a free application built on a Google Spreadsheet that reads in Khan Academy CSV files and sends the scores to the Canvas gradebook. Demo video below and link to site. Hope it helps someone! The setup takes a bit but it has made grading Khan exercises so much easier and quicker.

Sorry you had a bad day! What about some ‘easier’ multi-step problems that get them thinking again. Their skills might be a little rusty so what about a group friendly competition to see who can solve each problem the quickest in their groups?
This will get them thinking math again and also get their confidence up that they do remember more than they think!
Hope today is a better day!

Flip grip - Have students make a flip grid video, Introduce themselves, name one academic goal & one fun fact about themselves. Then have students watch and comment on 5 people they don't know. This is great because you get to watch all the videos and get to learn your students too.
Try a get to know the teacher Kahoot! Gane where they guess things about you. Then play 2 truths and a lie with your students. It will be fun and help you start to get to know them.
I’m doing a google jam board where every student is going to get a slide/screen to define themselves in terms of either the 1st letter of their first name or 1st letter of their last name. So if someone’s name started with B, they could add to the jam board that they are Bold, Bonkers, play Basketball, and like Blues Brothers. They need 4 things about themselves that start with their chosen letter, and they need to add a picture for each description. The idea is to become less of an unknown while also showing how verbal phrases and visual displays work together.

I usually ask them if zero is even odd or neither and then require an explanation. It usually turns into diacussion. You can give them many different Google forms or polls. If you are doing 100% online I suggest that you spend the first week just making sure everyone knows how to use all of the platforms, syllabus and reviewing exponent rules, fractions, turning radicals to expinent form, factoring. What platforms are you using?
