We have tried lots of OTC stuff and many professional trainers and they all mention that we need to talk to our vet about anxiety medicine. however, our vet refuses to prescribe it without us going through a behaviorist. The problem is the only behaviorist in our area is $700/session (minimum 2 sessions) and the wait is 5 months. Should I try a new vet or has anyone had luck with a virtual diagnosis?
