I need to do some certs now that I have time. Focusing in cloud architect and security. What are the best ways to prep to sit? I heard cloud academy is good. What are the best free sources and can you prep for free and still do fine?

Acloud guru

Bend your knees to 90 degrees and make doubley sure there is a level surface behind your knees to which you can land your backside on.
That's at least how I've always done it? 🤷‍♂️😂

In all seriousness though, I've heard acloudguru is a great resource, especially for AWS

Just realized you emphasized free though. I believe acloudguru is a paid subscription.

Hi guys

I joined a midsize company this 31st Oct. Now they are asking me to sign an agreement of 6months with the client. Am worried right now and have a different offer in pipeline (offer letter coming in 2days). Am thinking of leaving this organisation and join the other one even if they're offering less CTC.

Please advise if absconding in such manner will affect my career. Is there any consequence if I leave right now?

Hey all,
I am looking for some guidance. I am currently an RN and just feel like the healthcare system is falling apart. I currently work in home health and am thinking about what my next job choice should be, whether in nursing or something outside of healthcare. I’m feeling so unfulfilled in work and just burnt out. It could be I just need to step away from direct patient care and do something more behind the scenes. Anyone else having these thoughts or have any guidance? I appreciate the help

Worth it to make the jump to PE at associate level? Late 20s and about to be a second year IB Associate. All in comp will be higher in IB vs PE role. I also hate being available around the clock / lack of visibility into future for scheduling etc. In the interview process with a few LMM. For those on the other side what would you do in my place? Do you get more freedom / control with your time in PE?

Have others found it hard to transition from Audit to Financial Analyst? All the recruiters I’m meeting with are telling me I probably won’t get an interview since they’re looking for someone who’s ready to hit the ground running.
It’s discouraging because I’m a fast learner, and from talking to my friends who are Financial Analysts, it doesn’t seem like what we do is so dissimilar.

Been in audit for a year now and really don’t like it. Find is so boring and brain rotting. I know audit and PA in general is definitely not for me. I’m not totally sure what I want to do next, maybe something in industry or financial analyst. Is leaving after a year too soon? Am I better sticking it out one more busy season?

Hey everyone,I graduated from university in summer 2021 and then moved to a more sales job. I am now going to start a masters degree in strategic marketing and would like to move to product marketing / branding / digital marketing? How can I make this move?

Can I ask for at least similar salary (base salary + bonuses) than my current job? When I look at some of the marketing salaries, it seems extremely low and would hope that my experience/masters would be considered.

Thank you!

My wife failed a tenancy referencing on the grounds of employment and pay because she is on mat leave. We have more than sufficient savings to cover rent for the whole year and yet she failed and the reason they stated is ‘we are not sure she will return back to work after X month’. Isn’t that discriminatory in nature and worth a legal fight? Worth adding she is getting full pay for 6 months, goes back to work after 8 months and the 7/8 month pay is only statutory of £650.
