So I went out to Chipotle to grab lunch real quick. The next person in line stood literally a foot away from me. Politely asked that we maintain some more distance and got called a “crazy person” 🤦🏽‍♂️

One of the customers complained that I was too slow (I'm dyslexic, I'm doing my best!) so my manager stepped in to help her. I thought I was going to be in really big trouble. But after the customer left the manager told me that I shouldn't be too hard on myself, "sometimes customers are just being jerks" and I felt so grateful. Not all supervisors are unreasonable, some of them are actually quite understanding. I don't know. It just surprised me, it was really cool.

Is there generally a penalty if you give your resignation while you’re out on short term disability or FMLA? My employee handbook doesn’t say anything and HR won’t give me any info.
