I need to get serious with this cpa shit, always am focus in the beginning then idk I get unfocused when I realize how much studying I need to do in so little time. failed 3 times ( audit once and bec twice) hopefully this study time for reg ( not paying for the part till I'm almost done with the book) I'm focused sick of wasting money and spending time on this crap..

Build it every day; little by little; some days will be more productive than the others; but never skip a day. Best of luck

I already started studying for reg and on chapter 3 already .. wasn't sure if I was gonna pass bec or not so just kept pushing .. and didn't want to waste time .. but now on my lunch break I read a module and after work I go to Starbucks .. learned studying at home isn't for me at all ..

I also got the shaft from FAR. Checked my score this morning. Smh

Why move on to reg? Do you not want to keep trying Audit and bec? I understand I failed three times too audit 2x and reg 1x

It's though but keep focus eventually you will succeed, I too am trying hard in the same boat as you are but believe me it doable just don't loose the focus.

Hi All,
I wish to join one of the top consulting firms like McKinsey, BCG, B&C etc. I am currently working as a Business Analyst with a work ex of 3 years.
I have started exploring on my own and one thing that came out different were Case Studies interviews and I have started reading and preparing for them.
I will do MBA also post working in one of these firms.
I was hoping if anyone can help me to prepare better or suggest a plan to land a job for a role that aligns with my ambitions.
Thank You

Any thoughts on the best certifications to get in order to help move forward? I have considered the CCP from World at Work, but it’s fairly pricey to get by the time you wrap up everything. I was looking at both SHRM-CP and SPHR. Everyone that I have spoken to has the SHRM, but that’s also only looking at individuals in a small geographic footprint and within 3-4 different companies. I was hoping to get some thoughts on this from others? Thanks

What are the day to day responsibilities of a PM at a design agency? Is it a chilled role or not? I’m trying to get a better understanding of it. I do a bit of PMing in my current role but as a consultant I’m focused a lot on the content. Guess I’m trying to figure out what the role would be like if I left consulting to be a project manager full time.

How difficult is it to juggle a remote role with a hybrid role?

My current role is hybrid with at least two days a week in office. However, with the potential economic downturn, I'm considering holding on to the role to supplement my income.

I'm new to the overemployed movement, so I'm evaluating the feasibility of holding onto the hybrid role and the remote position.
