I need to request the elimination of a 10 year old YouTube video I did for a tv program. This video appears on Google just under my LinkedIn page result

Side note, the carrot is usually better than the stick in this situation.
Figure out who is now running the social accounts for the station/show/production company or whatever.
Call that person directly. Explain the situation. Itâs a 10 year old video, it isnât driving traffic.
People are generally reasonable in these situations. Pick up the phone. Donât email.
The company doesn't exist anymore. Else I would have tried that
Curious as the wht the vid is đ
If it was completed for a TV program, did you sign any consent paperwork? I guess we just need more background about it.

Google has a search removal request tool but itâs usually for very specific reasons like copyright infringement, sexually explicit etc etc. Itâs worth a shot to claim some legal copyright privacy issue?

On that note- we (Americans) should be raising awareness and pushing for âright to be forgottenâ legislation, which allows individuals to request removal of links from google for any reason. EU has it but the US does not, which is frankly some kind of BS.
Get a lawyer to send them a cease and desist?

Whomever uploaded it can remove it easily. Any chance you can contact them?

Did you specifically assert YOU owned the copyright?
I am curious if a bunch of people all đ© it, if YouTube might take it down? Perhaps one strategy would be to share it and let your fellow đ ies help?
Unfortunately this isn't true. If there's no violation. They won't no matter the number
Hmmm. Perhaps try an online reputation management service? You may be able to find someone who specializes and pay them to get it down.
Only other thing I can think of is to purchase a google one membership, which gives you âaccess to google experts.â Perhaps they know something or can help. Might be worth an exploratory $19.99.
Good luck!

Get a lawyer who will write to YouTube stating your consent wasn't given for it to be uploaded maybe?

Sounds like his consent was given, but it didnât age well. I wouldnât go that route.
