Thoughts on CAIA? Difficulty, hours studied, study tips, overall experiences, etc.? I’ll be sitting for Level 1 in September. Every evening, my girlfriend talks about her job for 2 hours straight. She literally recites every single conversation she had during the day. It’s her first real job, she started 3 months ago. I get that it’s exciting for her, but I can’t pretend any longer that I’m interested.

Here's mine: I was working in the call center and I was explaining to a customer that he had used up all his credit and that's why he couldn't surf the Internet on his phone. He started to insult me for 8 minutes and, due to company policies, I could not hang up until he had finished.

I've heard so many people complaining because "every client support person suck".
What they don't see:
- We've been working non-stop for the past 6 hours or more.
- We're usually ridiculously underpaid.
- You're blaming us for something we have no control over.

Sometimes, just sometimes dealing with customers ALL DAY is really draining. Being in customer support, no one looks forward to “clock-out time” more than our department!
Management keeps reminding us of how important we are to their success yet they treat us terribly. Has anyone here worked in customer support for a company that was respectful and compassionate?
