I never thought I’d say this - but I have cancelled my trip to the Modex industry show in Atlanta next week out of an abundance of caution over coronavirus related to elderly relatives.

This is 100% the right reason to cancel! As long as your immune system is OK you'll be fine, but best not to put others at risk if you regularly interact with people who have weaker immune systems (E.g., older relatives) Good on you :)

So.. my husband and I live across the country from my family, including my young nieces. We haven’t seen them since before COVID and are not seeing anyone inside who is not vaccinated in our life, and this has not been a problem. We made a plan to vacation with my family to see them again this summer. My BIL is refusing to get vaccinated. Everyone else is vaccinated. My parents and sister aren’t happy about it but feel there is nothing they can do.

Has anyone here had a breakthrough Covid case who also received the Moderna vaccine? Anecdotally - went to a small wedding last weekend and a TON of the guests are testing positive for Covid now. Everyone at my table has symptoms or a positive test at this point - except me. I had a negative test and got moderna. They all received Pfizer. Other guests at different tables are seeing the same thing, including married couples with different vaccinations.

Hey everyone, so my sister and her boyfriend have both gained about 60-70 pounds since COVID started. I’m getting very concerned for them and I’ve seen firsthand how they’re developed awful eating and drinking habits and they hardly ever exercise. I’m very concerned for them, but I have no idea how to talk about it with them and not make them angry or hurt. Any advice on how to have this difficult conversation?

After working 15 months on a big project, I was replaced by another creative who finished producing it. Dream client. Dream content. I was never told this was happening. The project just kept rolling on and I was not invited to the meetings. The company recently released the work and everyone is fawning over it. Much of the concept is the same, which I had a key role in. Due to Covid it was packaged differently, but still the same messaging. I’m so angry. but not sure I have the right. 😖

Curious, are attorneys taking cases to sue hospitals and staff that the family members claim have ‘wrongly’ intubated unvaccinated COVID patients? As in they should not have been intubated? Currently working at Accenture as a C (promoted Dec ‘19), but I know I ultimately want to make the jump over to Deloitte. I am on track to be promoted to M in the 2021 promo cycle and I know Deloitte would likely knock me down one level either way. Due to COVID-19, it seems like it doesn’t make sense to jump ship for at least another year while things get back to normal. Any thoughts on if it’s better to wait it out and leave after making M (but how long after?) or try to leave earlier? TIA
