I officially told my department’s lead EA that I was quitting and she was so rude. She told me I was immature and questioned my abilities, asking me how I thought I would succeed at my new company if I couldn’t succeed at the current one. Like ma’am, excuse me?

She also kept telling me I was the problem then turned around and asked me what they could’ve done better with EA onboarding. I told her that they did everything perfectly and I was, of course, the problem.

I feel validated.

I am so sick and fed up with some of the older clients at my job. I know it's my responsibility to take care of them, but they're just so sexist sometimes.

What are some good books to read if I want to learn how to better show up for the team as a manager?

I’m a new associate working for a well-known defense attorney in my state. On one hand, I’m thankful for the opportunity to learn from one of the best, but he also excoriates and belittles me for my mistakes. Any advice on how much it tolerable? I am here to learn and advance my career but he can be pretty nasty. (My mistakes are no worse than you’d expect a 1st year associate to make, in case you’re all wondering if I’m a major screw-up who deserves it) I leave work feeling a foot tall.

One executive I support wants to share his location/whereabouts with me through the Apple app, "Find My." He wants me to know whereever he is so we are right beside each other.

Would you feel comfortable? Or am I overthinking this? To me, I don't care where he is.

Am just wondering if this is an appropriate request to ask an EA?
