Ladies, need some perspective. Been talking to a guy who is now flying down to my city to meet over the weekend. He has not texted this entire week once and it is already Friday evening. Am I being too paranoid? I feel like it’s basic manners at this point so just text and say “hey, flight will land at xyz. See you” or something. More context in comments below.

Midlevel associate new to BL but older in age. Because of my prior experience, I have contacts that refer business to me and I can probably charge anywhere between $100-$200k this work. No one at the firm has done this type of work, but I’ve been told it can be helpful*. At smaller firms this would have been good business to bring in. At my current firm, am I making myself look unaware by trying to bring this in? There’s potential to have two or three of these deals in my first few months alone.

My friend who has experience of 2.5 years went for in interview in Infosys for automation testing. He had the salary package of 4lpa in tcs and Infosys just offered him 5.5lpa fixed, the incident is of 4 months old....Please suggest like does companies like Infosys give this much less less hike to automation engineers(selenium with Java one)? Or is there any saturation period going on in Infosys then? Or is it because automation engineer isn't a developer? GUYS PLEASE SUGGEST.

I have been working 20 years and with 2 kids now I am feeling completely burn out. Right now I m waiting for my company yo laid people off and sort of looking forward to a bit of career break. I feel too drained to interview now even through I hate my job.. nor do I have any interest with taking a job that require in office commuting 3 hrs a day. Looking for insight on working in a surgery center VS working in a hospital OR.

I’m married to a service member and have taken some time off while we lived overseas.
