I own 5 $TSLA shares and considering if I should sell 1 or hold all 5? It’s too expensive for me to buy any more. Thoughts?

Taking profit off the table is never a bad idea, especially if you re-invest to diversify. Selling 1 share covers all of your costs and still returns $1k in profit (which will be taxed, but should be long term), while you still “freeroll” the other 4 shares. If you invest that money into 5 shares each of companies that are currently in the $35 to $40 range that could 25x over the coming years like Tesla did, that’s a great diversity hedge in my mind!

I would probably sell. Everything’s near an all time high. 3,000% return is crazy. Take the gain while taxes are what they are and then stay ready to invest if we have a major red day

Can't be serious!

Hold. It’s probably going to run to $1300-1400 in the next week or two but will pull back. TSLA is a long term hold, will most likely hit $2000 EOY 2022

What’s the basis of your predictions SC1? Curious how you can do this type of forecasting.

Iron hands - I think they’ll be going up for a bit yet. Plenty of gains to further reap my friend. 😊

If you think it’s too expensive to buy then you should sell. You obviously think there is a better place for your money to grow, so find that place and put your money there.

How should I quit Accenture. Will it affect my future job prospects and I need to show this company in my resume. Will Accenture blacklist me to join in future if quit it.

Other company is aware of this situation and they don't have a problem and they have already considered me.

Result i need to give while I quit.

New to investing. I want to open a Roth IRA and put 3000$ in to buy VTSAX. My plan after that is to contribute 200- 300$ at the end of each month. Is that how you guys do it? Do you watch the market and buy on a specific day when the market is low or do you just pick a day of the month- lets say every 30th day of the month to add to your acct? Thanks
