Taking profit off the table is never a bad idea, especially if you re-invest to diversify. Selling 1 share covers all of your costs and still returns $1k in profit (which will be taxed, but should be long term), while you still “freeroll” the other 4 shares. If you invest that money into 5 shares each of companies that are currently in the $35 to $40 range that could 25x over the coming years like Tesla did, that’s a great diversity hedge in my mind!

I would probably sell. Everything’s near an all time high. 3,000% return is crazy. Take the gain while taxes are what they are and then stay ready to invest if we have a major red day
Damn lol when did you buy?
I got about 3 when Elon mouthed off on Twitter and it was at about $180 ish (5/29/2019)
I sold 2 when it was about 500 and kept one. This split into 5

Can't be serious!
Hold. It’s probably going to run to $1300-1400 in the next week or two but will pull back. TSLA is a long term hold, will most likely hit $2000 EOY 2022
What’s the basis of your predictions SC1? Curious how you can do this type of forecasting.
Iron hands - I think they’ll be going up for a bit yet. Plenty of gains to further reap my friend. 😊
If you think it’s too expensive to buy then you should sell. You obviously think there is a better place for your money to grow, so find that place and put your money there.
