You don’t have to explain why you’re resigning at all. If you’re so inclined, just say it isn’t a good fit. If they pry (where are you going), just say taking some time for myself.

You don’t ever have to explain why you’re leaving somewhere. Congrats on your new offer!
Yeah, I echo what everyone has said. Do NOT tell them why. I wouldn't either bother telling them where unless you have a contractual obligation.
Give your 2 weeks (Thanks for the opportunity to work with the organization. I'm resigning my position to explore more opportunities and wish the company well.) That's it. Help with knowledge transfer. Then drop off the map lol
You'd be surprised the lengths people go to in order to maintain control.
Congratulations and enjoy your freedom!
While you don't have to tell them a thing, I'd encourage you to be honest in your exit interview. Often times, it is the only data point we have to make a case against someone difficult to work with, especially if perf reviews are positive otherwise. You don't have to tell them where you're going, and you shouldn't.
Hey OP, in a similar boat and not sure how to approach if this question comes up in the interview process. Mind if I DM you?

Sure!
“I am putting my two-week notice in to pursue other interests. Thank you.”
You could mention micro-managing boss you HR in the exit interview.
