I have 2 offers in hand currently -
1. CGI - 25LPA +1L JB
2. Neev systems - 23LPA (5%VP)

Neev systems is ready to negotiate it with CGI. And both companies have their own benefits.

Neev's hike is good compared to CGI(almost double) & CGI have some additional perks like cab facility, Creche allowance, mobile, internet bills reimbursements and additional 5% shares.

Both might have similar WLB (12-9pm).

Does EY pay 100% for maternity leave 4 weeks before baby is due? I know they do 16 weeks post delivery but CA state law allows you to take 4 before due date. Anyone able to get it approved and paid?

What's an ideal pension contribution?

Anyone know of any healthcare regulatory firm or gov’t jobs available? I do regulatory and transactions now but *hate* working on transactions.

How do the pension schemes for partners/principals compare across the B4? At Deloitte, until a few years ago, it was 1% of high five per year up to 25 years. Now, I believe the partners have to contribute 50% of the 1% per year, so the benefit is more like .5% per year.

To those saying not to rebalance IRA/401K, why not? If experts are saying the market could go down another 20%, why not lock in losses now and rebalance after all this is over? I rebalanced (cont.)

I have a friend in the Federal government that just got an offer for a VP position at a private firm with a guranteed 30% raise immediately, with a path to promote in one year to senior VP with an extra raise of 20%. So net 50%+ more than they are making now. However, they have 14 years of fed service, and are 6 years away from pension. How do they calculate how much they would need to make from this new job to give up the 6 years till pension?

Need some real, tangible advice I can give. My BIL is in sales, sister is a teacher. They have 2 kids. He sells RVs, business was great in pandemic but has been terrible this year. How do you transition from big 4 consulting to big law? My clients are all funds, and I do international tax consulting. I have used my connections to refer me into probably 10 big law firms and it’s not working. One most recently came back and said they aren’t interested bc I have no law firm experience.
