I get credit alerts from Experian/ TU & was told two email addresses were found on the dark web. Have been hit w fraudulent charges in FL via Chipotle app; rec'd email that said sender knew my password (was partially correct) & was going to send nude pics of me to my contacts; rec'd email from Best Buy about my email being used to reset my pword (don't have BB acct) & today was notified of a declined transaction in Canada (I'm in TX). Besides changing pwords/ replacing cards what should I do?

What should I do for consevative strategy of investment. I invested in RE before and never had time and brush up my knowledge in stock other than puting to my 401k. Now my paychecks per month is $10k. I spend maybe $3k for expense and misc stuffs. What is the best way to put maybe $3k to work? Buying big giant stocks? Or just some funds? Do Plumbers generally charge a fee just to come look at the problem and provide an estimate? I called a couple of plumbers and they are asking for a 50$ or 75$ fee just to be at the door and give an estimate, the fee will be adjusted if I give them the job.

I’m looking to purchase a home. I have enough for 20% down and I qualify for a traditional mortgage but my dad suggested he lend me the full cash to make the sale that way I have more negotiating room and can close faster. Then once I close I can refinance it and keep 20% in the house and pay my dad back for the 20%. Is there a downside to this? Will it get messy?
