I quit my job. I’m moving out. I’m not sure I want to work in advertising anymore. Not sure where I want to live. I have a lot of questions. Hopefully I will soon find some answers.

Good for you. Make changes when you can because the older you get the harder it gets and kids, mortgages etc make things even more complicated.

Conflicted feelings - I have a senior title in my role in enterprise tech sales (no quota). I am 25 years old, the second youngest person on the team is 32 (same title) and the rest are all mid to late 30s-40s. Everyone has an MBA except me. I sometimes feel very good to be at a place without investing all that money in mba and relatively early in my career as compared to my peers VS too young and someone who lacks credibility on the team. Thoughts? My manager has given me good feedback so far

Hey all, new to this bowl. Currently a Tech Recruiter and eventually want to make the transition into a HRBP or HR Generalist role. I’m looking to pivot back into a technical writing role, or at least a role with tech writing as a core responsibility. I’ve been working toward a solution architect role but I’m not allowed to own any documentation; I have to farm it all out to BAs. I actually wouldn’t even mind being a BA — which is literally what I was hired as — but my “on paper” boss said my salary is too high to be a BA(?!). Is it possible to land a tech writing or BA job that pays in the $140k - $150 range?

For those who have obtained the CFF certification:
I was asked to put together a working plan to obtain my CFF credential. I’m aware of the 2 certificate program (Core and Specialized) through the AICPA that will lead to the CFF. Does anyone have experience in how long it would take to complete the certificates and if there are other necessary or helpful study materials that would be useful? For background, I’m 6 months into working at this firm and have touched a variety of cases.

Crossposted. Looking for advice. I’ve got 10+ years as an attorney and have been trying to go in house for over a year. I have a generalist background (although I’m primarily a litigator) and was a partner at an Amlaw 100 firm. I’ve had my resume reviewed and keep getting great feedback. Not getting many interviews and when I do, I’m not getting offers despite positive interviews. How do I differentiate myself? Should I get some sort of certification or specialty? This is getting depressing.

Just finished my investment advice diploma and certificate in paraplanning cisi, any advice on which companies offer or are currently hiring for junior wealth manager, junior private banker or junior relationship manager (wealth/private)?
Looking to take the next step in my career.

Current consultant (boutique) with offers at a large ride sharing company (starts with a U) for Strategy/BizOps and a public company in their data consulting division. Obviously different areas, but the U role is seriously lacking in comp. Anyone else take/consider much lower total comp (~30% lower) to go to strategy/biz ops?
