I reached out to the recruiter to see when if there are any status updates on the role I just had a final round interview for. It’s been two days and no response, should I be worried??

Was contacted by Amazon for a creative role. I passed the first hurdle (the screener) and now up to the hiring manager phone interview but honestly not feeling the STAR method shenanigans and the 6 hour interview. Tbh it sounds like a cult… but a highly paid one 😐. Wwyd?

This is how my day started. I come in this morning and the first thing my boss says to me is how when he hired me he didnt think I was beautiful. He was glad for that since no one would accuse him of hiring me for my looks. But now Im beautiful and that means trouble for him so he should fire me for that. I’m like oh you’re gonna fire me bc of my looks, interesting. I’m literally cringing over this and I’m honestly just angry/upset/annoyed. Took all of me not to walk out.

I know IVF creates a lot of additional stress, but what can we do? I'm trying really hard to be a supportive partner but at a loss. My analysis is that when she feels nervous/anxious, she acts out at me as a defense mechanism. Anger puts us in control, anxiety as a victim. I try not to retaliate, but i'm not perfect. Help!

I left a 6 month fixed contract job. I decided not to extend my contract so didn’t sign the renewal contract. However, recently the HR has emailed me that I didn’t give the company 1 month notice and thus, they have the right to decline providing any future employee reference. I don’t think I broke any rules since I didn’t sign the renewal contract (sent only a week before termination date) and worked till my termination date. Is this legal for them to decline future reference due to this?
