I realized I am over using my phone. Been trying some tricks such as keeping the phone in another room, no notifications (besides iMessage/WhatsApp), deleted dating apps etc. But I just shifted my use on instagram - has anyone found any good “plan” to reduce the use of it? I was thinking to delete the app during the day which could be helpful but if anyone got a better idea I am listening! Thank you

Look at your app usage over the last week and take an assessment on which of these apps are either necessary (chrome, outlook, etc.) or actually fulfilling and adding value to your life (Calm, Better). Delete all the ones that are taking up too much of your time and you aren’t actually getting value. You don’t have to delete your account, but delete the app.

There’s an app called Opal that supposed to help with this. I found it useless.

I find it better to keep my phone outta sight so it’s outta mind. Like keep it in a drawer in another room, lock it in the filing cabinet, etc.

Mostly what works for me is deemphasizing it’s importance in my life. I don’t need to be in the loop or available to chat 24/7.

I have 2 offers in hand one is CTS (16.3+ 70000) and HCL (19+3)
Hcl is pakka support project (operations) no chance of development. I am having 10 YOE and completely in development.
CTS not sure about project.

So I worked for Walmart for 7 months, Left it last Month because of below reasons.

1- Poor learning curve
2- Poor Management
3- Poor Products Architecture/design
4- Less competitive environment
5- Less Pay as compared to Market Standard (Lowballed everyone)
6- Late night calls for IDC folks.
7- They don't care about your suggestion and concerns.
8- They don't have any interesting projects.
Joined different organization with great learning opportunities.

Is there such thing as garden leave when moving between the MBBs? As in due to potential conflict of interest, you're not allowed to work for a competitor for x months after you terminate contract with existing employer? Does it only apply to senior levels (partner and above)
