Ton of people have the same issues and get it done. No excuses, play like a champion
Pwc1, be pissed if he or she delegates down. If it is able to be delegated to a staff, the senior really shouldn't be doing it to begin with no matter the reason because that is not efficient use of resources or the budget
Just take it anyway fk it you might pass
I think in that situation, taking pto to pound out an exam might be helpful. Like around the holidays so you get close to 2 weeks with only one week of pto used. Not the best situation but it sure beats enjoying the holiday's now and being the S3 that hasn't finished their exams
Yup. Only required for manager literally everywhere else. (AFAIK)
PWC1 literally has no soul.
Taking them now as s3. Wake up at 4 everyday to study. In bed by 9. Gotta fully commit or it won't get done.
How are you a senior with no CPA? Does only PwC require that?
^ what?? If I was an associate and the senior was pushing his work down on me to study for an exam he should have passed years ago, I'd be pissed? F that
I took 5 days vacation as a staff 1 to cram before my last one. Sucked, but got it done.
You see it wrong then. Lol. You may need an attitude adjustment.
PWC1, I’m a lady 💁🏻
I don't know what to do...senior btw.
These responses really don’t help... my advice, commit at least 5 hours of studying on days you work and spend a majority of your weekend (8-10 hours Sat/Sun each)
That is ~41-45 hours a week of study time. If you absolutely cannot do that, I would also advise on taking PTO. Trust me, the exam is not as bad as ppl always make it out to be, it is just a huge commitment.
As long as you work at it you will get it. Try and delegate tasks to staff as much as possible.
^ hey man, just call em like I see em. Lol
Suck it up, buttercup. Why didn't you take them whilst you were an associate? You know, over the last 30 freaking months? Or you know, during grad school or undergrad, depending on your state? No excuses.
Oh, and btw, def not a morning person. Used to roll into work ~10...
I literally did nothing but study every spare waking minute for 4 months straight and passed all on the first try in two testing windows. It's completely doable. There are no excuses.
