Finally had some feedback on my recent engagement and honestly pretty annoyed. I don’t understand how managers/directors expect you to understand and produce a deliverable without having had any guidance on it to begin with/never seeing it before in my life. I’m relatively new to the firm and apparently I should take more initiative in knowing what to do already without ever having experience in it.

Imposter Syndrome:
I was hired even though I felt unqualified. I now realized the people that hired me thought I was senior at my previous job when I wasn’t... I never lied about anything during my interview and talked about my duties. I only realized this after I got hired and the team introduced me saying all these fabulous “senior” things that I did - which is true (more like acting senior duties) 😅 what do i do!! Do I tell them I wasn’t a senior? I’m not behind on my work or anything
