I really want to get a puppy given WFH currently, but nervous about pulling the trigger given that we are likely returning to travel at some point in 2021. I’m single and live by myself, so worried about what the pups lifestyle would look like if I returned to travel 1-3 days a week (knowing that 3-days per week is certainly not fair to the dog).

How have others thought about this? I’ve raised 4 dogs growing up, so I’m well aware of what it takes from a training / attention standpoint.

The real question is how will the Marriott/SPG merger effect 'Crossover Rewards'.

I just started back at biglaw a couple of weeks ago after clerking for two years directly out of law school. I am finding the transition really difficult. I felt prepared for the hours (although it’s not too bad yet so maybe I’m not), but there are so many other frustrations—the tight deadlines, depending on other associates (and feeling hamstrung by their constraints), and overall being bored by the work.

I know I need to get over these feelings if I’m to survive. Any tips?
