I really want to shift to a role in real estate as a financial analyst helping with deals. I have an undergrad in finance, masters in business analytics and working on the CFA level 1. But not much experience in deal analysis before I was more in the advising side and currently in a strategy role. Any suggestions on companies and roles I should look at for real estate analyst roles?

Year 1: Should I be applying for analyst roles and studying for CFA if I know I don't want to stay in audit or work on getting my CPA and wait another busy season before I apply/request for transfer?
