I received a job offer with a probationary period that requires targets are met to obtain the full salary I requested. While this is not a pure sales role, biz dev and revenue are part of the responsibility of managing a 30pp department in this role.

One target requires I increase team revenue by 20% in 6 months. They haven't shared current revenue info yet, but 20% on ANY number seems really high, especially in the first 6 months.

What are some reasonable revenue increase goals you've had?

Currently at ADP, been here for 4 years, degree in Pre-Med Biology. Have both Inside and Outside Sales experience partnering with CPA firms/current clients/prospects for about 4 years and starting a new channel with DEI Organizations/Networking Groups for B2B. ADP has a great comp plan but my base is 48K and even with the commission I feel like I’m getting taken advantage of/not getting what I’m worth. After 4 years, I feel it’s time to move on.
