I received a negative project feedback rating, even though I exceeded the financial goal 2x over (contingent project). Wtf- things like picking apart how I write emails…. What should I do (if anything)? It’s not my final review.

1) Send the person who gave you the review an email about how you saw the feedback, it was a surprise because x, and you want to meet to better understand the metrics you're being evaluated on and how to improve. Meet. Send a follow-up email reiterating what you heard. Periodically check up with them and ask for feedback about how you're doing. This will probably not matter, but your earnestness will annoy them, and sometimes that's all we have. 2) At the same time, come up with an exit plan. 3) If you have a mentor or someone else senior who you trust, tell them what's going on. They may have specific recommendations, like getting off that project.

The project already wrapped which is why it’s hilarious. They didn’t do a mid project review just an end one to basically say “you suck”

Sometimes financial objectives are not the only ones that matter

True but you better believe that someone is being rewarded for meeting metrics.

How does one transition from big 4 to T2 (like Kearney, LEK, OW etc). I’ve been at EY for a few months now but my project has been nothing but staff aug and a vague technology transformation project for a bank. I was really interested in the strategy work in my undergrad and choose to go the consulting route instead of IB because I wanted to help clients make decisions and it seems like I can mainly get it at T2 firms. Would love some advice on how to get this transition started

I feel imma get burnt out soon and start looking elsewhere. Anybody going though this? ‘Tis the impact of high turnover & lack of understanding of boundaries + Team can’t find new candidates

I am 11 weeks pregnant with history of miscarriage and termination due to abnormal 12 week ultrasound, hence considered as a high risk pregnancy. I just received green light that I made to SM. Any advice on how to handle this situation considering I want to communicate my pregnancy post 20 weeks?
