Stay at OW.
The senior manager is worth it as an exit point. Manager not so much.
If you join as a manager you'll likely take some time to absorb the culture and style, before you can get promoted. Might slow the trajectory...and realistically, the people that matter know what ow is.
I think B&C1 is right here. Given OP’s planned exit in 1 to 1.5 years, this time may be wasted on transition and integration. Otherwise, sounds like a solid opportunity for OP.
Stay! We need you 😬

What’s ur offer?
Good work btw! Isn’t Manager level EM at Bain?
Rising Star
I would take it.
Wow Bain are really targeting OW rn…

Is Manager more senior than AS1.5? If its similar to AS3 of EM then yes take it. Will help with exit opps

I may be going against the grain here, but I think its best if you do take the offer. It will be a big value add to your CV if you want lucrative exit opps.
Hard to say for sure, as things vary by country a lot, etc., but it should be a substantial boost to your lifetime earnings trajectory. I would recommend pushing yourself towards two years at least though - making SM and one year as SM, then heading out. Both for the SM title and if I see anyone at MBB for less than two years I assume they got forced out.
What do you mean by “Manager” at Bain - is it a case team leader or “Consultant”?
Case team leader
I thought mbb always downgrade people from tier 2, interesting that they give ctl to associate 1.5 at ow
