Interviewing with an industry hiring manager who is a former technical recruiter who got an M7 MBA and then worked at MBB for years. What a combo.

I previously worked at a small Plaintiffs law firm (pre admission). At the time of hiring and throughout my employment, I was constantly told I would get paid referral fees for all cases which I referred. I did get money for some but the partner was SO bitter that I left that he has not paid me for 5+ cases which I referred. Has anyone experienced this? What can I do? This man owes me a substantial amount of money.

Salaries have really been spiking. I am curious what the salary for a Principal/ Junior Partners would be in a mid-sized accounting firm now. In January I was approached for $200K for a senior manager role. Now a head hunter has approached me with $225K.

Applied to PMM role in December on the heels of a completed contract @ Google. Wrapped up screening, fit, and superday (first round, and second round with 3 interviews in one day) by last week in January. Got one commitments question wrong. Sent in follow-up notes as recommended. Multiple follow-ups to my internal recruiter, etc. Was told I’m in consideration for hiring committee. But, I heard (not from my recruiter) they’d found a candidate. Maybe, maybe not. Does 3 weeks = not that into me?

Most companies offer 2 or 3 weeks vacation for new employees. Is it a big turn-off to hiring managers for a request of 4 weeks?
How many of you get separate PTO days for miscellaneous personal stuff or work/life balance? What is everyone getting these days for number of sick days? I think the standard 5 isn’t enough now that everyone has the chance of getting the flu and COVID.

Hello Folks, @Nagarro, what is the role of Associate Principal Engineer and Avg. salary at this position with 11+ Yrs exp.

I left a very high paying position for better work-life balance and I'm regretting it. I was at 165k and dropped to 105k but with unlimited PTO and total WFH. In some ways it's better, but I have to admit I made the decision in haste. What would you do? Should I jump ship again?

As of today, the IT approved is still pending on always cognizant becoz of which don't have relieving letter and fnf amount yet. What to do for this?

I have an offer with IBM - 18 lpa fixed and cognizant - 23lpa (22.3 lpa fixed). I asked IBM to revise the offer to match the counter, but they rejected it. I atleast asked them for 21lpa even that too rejected. The difference between in-hand salary of both comes to around 30k. Now IBM team is calling me continuously and asking if I am going to join or not. Please suggest.

My doj is next Monday, but have to defer it. Contacted my HR but unfortunately she is unresponsive since last week, hence a bit skeptical.
