I received an offer to be an associate in portfolio management at one of the largest fund of funds for 90k. Bonus “changes” so they could not estimate for me. Is this underpaid? If so, what is reasonable to expect?

180k base, 30k sign on, 150k RSU (4 yrs), 15% yearly bonus and 15k relocation package. What's my 1st year TC?

Does base vs bonus really matter? I have an offer for 160k with 15k sign on. I was hoping for ~180k bonus (without sign on). But doing the math, it comes out very close to as if I’d have a 175k base without sign on? Maybe I used wrong tax rates? Anyone can help?

How do you approach your current employer/leadership telling them you have an offer from a competing firm at a better salary but don’t actually want to leave.

Im up for VP next year but want to leave banking for multiple reasons but 1 relevant for this Q is I don’t want the VP role.

Would you say this was unprofessional, or would you have done the same? I was called out to present on a call mon night on which I got humiliated with questions: such as why are you telling us this, what even is this that you are sharing, kept getting cut off to explain myself. I was of course the only woman in the meeting. I literally cried after that’s how awful I felt. So today, similar call was scheduled, I just rejected, said I had something urgent come up and didn’t go.

Currently a recent college grad and working as an analyst in financial services. Majored in Risk Mgmt and working a rotation within Risk.
