I received feedback from a firm I interviewed with. Labor & Employment practice, in AMLaw 200. I thought the interview had gone well, and I asked questions that I thought would show my knowledge of the firm and what their plans were for the future considering how fast they’re growing — they said I was woefully unprepared (their words) and “a little time researching online” would have helped me. I spent hours researching and preparing. Any tips for future interviews? (More in comments).

I have a question would love a honest answer I am ACCA student and went for a job interview. The person who was conducting interview found out I am ACCA and he was a ICAI member. Throughout the interview i felt he was looking down on me. I recently talked about this with a friend and he said generally ICAI and ICAP accounting members dont give ACCA students and important. I have an interview with urban outfitters for a brand marketing internship. I struggle with interviews; i ways come prepared, ask good questions and do my research. But I can’t seem to usually get past the first round, im lucky if I make it to the 2nd. I think I may sound too rehearsed and not genuine enough/my personality doesn’t show through. Any tips/advice?

Looking for salary ranges for GM1

Company (nonprofit) I am interviewing with is hosting an Open House event this weekend. I completed the interview process and was told I would hear back “in a couple weeks - after open enrollment”. I sent a Thank You email after the last interview and another email this morning, inquiring about benefits but did not receive a response.

I am terrible at withholding salary information from recruiters. Yesterday a recruiter gave the line “I would hate for us to get to the end of the interview process only for it to turn out that we couldn’t give the salary you would need” so I panicked and threw out a number that was thirty percent higher than my current pay. He then told me the salary range which was way higher! Do you really just firmly repeat “I need to learn more about the team and benefits before I can assign a number?”
