18 months too quick to change jobs? I have just over 2 years of experience. I worked for one company as an analyst for 10 months—took the job in the heat of Covid so the pay was not great and i hated it, but I needed work post-graduation. I moved to my current company with a significant bump in pay and it’s been good. Recruiters reached out recently and in interviews openly said their base salary (20-30k higher) with a bump to senior analyst. My PT MBA starts in the fall, and it’ll be 100k:/

Since graduating with my bachelors in pre-medical professions I have been working as a dermatology CMA to gain experiential hours for PA school. I am exploring other career opportunities before I go into a program but with only having 3 years MA experience I’m having a hard time applying my skill set to different roles. Any suggestions/advise/Opportunities?

As an analyst, how early should I expect to get to do modelling?
I started a couple months ago and feels like everyone else (MBA associates, experienced analysts) is asked to do the modelling and I haven't been.
I lightly mentioned they don't need to hesitate to give me modelling pieces so I can learn but haven't touched anything yet.
I also get that with a time crunch, it's easier this way.
I'm worried this is a sign they don't trust me and I never will get to do any modelling/will be let go.

Hi, I am an engineer with a master degree . I worked for more than a decade as an engineer. I then switched to product marketing through mba. I was recently laid off from a series B startup . I have 3 years gap due to mba and children. I am 44 . I know I am way way behind in my career. I have an upcoming interview . The position is product manager ( 175k base + yearly bonus, no stock ) . I'm going to be accepting an offer to a firm. I have a pre planned trip in May I am going to tell them about and ask if that will be an issue (could be cancelled if it's an issue). I am also traveling on Presidents' Day as my current firm has that off. That trip is paid for and not refundable. Currently working at a Canadian B4 firm in M&A Advisory (think: integration advisory; operational due diligence; performance turnaround) but was approached to have an interview with one of the big Canadian banks for a role in their Commercial Banking area in credit.
