I received reviewed income statements for an LMM company with interest expense bundled into operating expenses with no disclosures. Should I remove it and out it below the line or leave as is?

Can someone tell me why/when we would test debt repayment? We’ve confirmed beginning and ending balances, why would we test payments and proceeds?

We have also tested interest expense if that matters

For those of you who have emergency savings (generally 3-6 months of expense), do you consider it to be used in case of unexpected and big auto and home repairs or medical emergencies? Or do you save separately for these types of situation?

Regarding the summer time 2k reimbursement I have a few doubts here… suppose I enter x colleagues name as attendee and enter amount as 2k.
1) Will 1000 be reimbursed to both or 2k directly to me.
2) And also can the same person x enter another bill for 2k and will be reimbursed same amount.
3) Does the date need to be same for both of us to reimburse.

What do other partners take as unreimbursed partnership expenses? I have heard some say they do nothing (because it isn’t addressed in the partnership agreement) but others say they take quite a bit (if there is an expense policy manual that disallows it). My read of the law is the latter is the correct read.

Waiting on a response after very positive interviews with one firm where they all but indicated they’d be giving me an offer (9 days ago) and scheduled for a second round with several partners at my dream firm after getting through interview with practice group head.
