I received two offers. One from BAH and another from Leidos. Same pay for both. Any pros/cons on either of these companies. If you had to choose which one would you pick? Has anyone worked for both of these companies?

I worked at BAE and BAH. Liked BAH more. BAE which is similar to Leidos, was very project focused and wasn’t much beyond that. Not a lot of firm culture. And my younger sister worked at SAIC, which use to be Leidoos and they were only retained for a project. Didn’t have an RM’s (same as BAE), so it was hard to get staffed if your projects ended.

Question for moms. I’m getting married next year and have several close family members that will have babies ages 8-11 months old by then. What are some ways I can support the moms and make it an enjoyable experience for them? We have a separate room at the venue that I was thinking could be offered to the parents to use, or potentially hiring a babysitter for them (either at the venue or back at the hotel). I would love for the families to be able to come, as it is out of town.

My managing partner said of Camille Vasquez (Depp/Heard trial atty) that she was a terrible lawyer. He said he hated watching her. I don’t have as many years experience as a trial attorney so I don’t understand his comment. Was she horrible, and how? Or was she deserving of the social media praise?

I want to get my PhD, but all of the programs I want require a full time commitment for the first year. What are my options? Is a sabbatical an option? Or would I have to straight up resign? Utilization notwithstanding (I’m a GPS consultant)…is it possible to go part time? I completed my master’s full time while a full time Deloitte consultant. I know school can be done, but for PhDs they usually want you to also work as a TA. Additionally, I am not interested in online programs.
