Hey everyone, I have a Salesforce Developer interview coming up with Amazon Web Services in Vancouver. Can anyone tell me what the culture is like there? Is there a work life balance?
Does anyone have any advice regarding the technical interview? I am not sure what the live coding section will be like. Can anyone advise what I should practice before hand?
Thanks
Why did you take the job in the first place ? What drew you to these opportunities?
Oh I forgot to mention about flexibility. The other job does allow me to work anywhere in the States. JPMorgan is also remote but it requires me to go to a nearby hub. I'm not as happy about that as well but it's not a total deal breaker. I would be able to go to certain cities with approvals. So it definitely isn't all bad at all.
Thanks for the advise! I've been wondering which is aspect is better to look at for the decision
If you want to progress in your career, JPMorgan will lead to significantly more opportunities, both internally and externally. Many small firms will keep you stagnant. They could be great and support your growth, but there are just less opportunities to learn new things or grow upward due to size.
Thank you for the advise!
The JPMorgan position kind of sounds like an almost help desk position with somewhat longer hours. I also feel bad for the other company because the manager has set up many meetings for each week to help me transition into the role. I feel like I got myself into a mess. JPMorgan just has the direction I would like to move in more - which is probably more technology companies instead of business which the other might give. But I do plan on getting masters and certs to help so idk what to do here
😂 That is a good point
