I recently accepted a new job offer a few weeks ago and start soon. It's not a well known company. It's a debt collector and is remote. I can work anywhere in the country. I recently got a job offer from JPMorgan as well and it is also remote, but I have to go wherever a hub and can visit family with vacation. Both companies pay almost the same - JPMorgan pays slightly more. I'm torn between the 2. The other company has a better title Senior InfoSec Analyst. JP's is Cyber Engineer. Any advice?

I’m hesitant because my management just started being nice this week and idk if it’ll stay it’s only been 4-5 months in this role as a recruiter. I just took a week+ off from work for PTO. I deleted slack on my phone and didn’t bring my laptop on my trip. It might have been the best thing I’ve ever done for myself and my mental health. I honestly didn’t realize how much I needed this space and time away from work.

Took an in-house job with a small legal department for the flexibility; was 100% remote for the first few months bc of pandemic; they told me that after the pandemic it would be flexible and 2 days wfh… now they are indicating “more time in the office is better” and I am feeling barely veiled pressure to be 5 days a week in the office… how can I tactfully raise this with my boss? Hi all, I’m a Manager of Leadership Development, fully remote, at $85K. I have a handful of direct reports, and one of them albeit has more experience than me, came on at $83K!! My company has 20k+ employees, my team supports 5,000+. 5 people in my department have left in June alone for higher paying roles! My boss is considering moving 5 more people under me. I’m Day 1 into holiday with my in-laws and my SIL’s husband is driving me nuts. We both have kids around the same age (15 months) and whenever my SIL asks him to watch their kid, he lets the boy roam around a non baby proofed house and within 30 minutes, I start watching his kid bc the boy is going up and down stairs, getting into things, etc. and the father doesn’t look after him.

It's been 4month with the team with no manager. I recently joined the organization and the team I am part of is headed by a lead and one analyst.
So being a new member as Sr.Data Analyst I sometimes have to report to analyst. Considering the fact that he has been part of the team for past 1 year and sometimes he sounds like lead as he is leading some project.
On other hand my manager is continuously asking me take lead in project and try to reduce dependency on that analyst.
