I recently accepted an industry exit offer at 2 YOE. I have taken vacation for the last two weeks and am meeting with my talent manager today to let them know. They think we are meeting to discuss the pipeline for next week. Any advice for the conversation? I have enough PTO to last until my start date in mid August. Can I expect to take all of it?

Most companies will pay you for your vacation balance when you leave. So unless that's not the case for you, just give them your two week notice. Doubt they will put you on a project and mostly likely they will let you go and pay for the notice period plus vacation balance

All depends on whether you’re ok burning bridges. Given you’re at 2 YOE, I think maintaining a positive relationship should be important to you. If that’s the case, be upfront in the meeting and follow up with written notice. Do not take additional PTO until you leave, unless this is encouraged by your manager. Focus on a smooth handoff of your projects and work with your manager to develop a communications plan so that people know you are leaving.

need advice. I have been working in an interim role as a portfolio manager. I was promised that the role would be mine. However, after doing the job for 2 months, I have been advised that we might not get the funding for the role and I might not get the raise and the title but my responsibilities will be the same. Its a political minefield. How should I back out elegantly that I need to be compensated fairly and competitively from this mess without burning any bridges
