I applied for some senior positions at AbbVie online 2 weeks ago. The status appears as “resume received” for some positions, status of one position appears as “under review” while another position shows “in progress”. Any idea how long their hiring team takes to get back following the application?

I would say if I had the ability to do it all over again I would stay at home with my parents and save the money. I have a senior in high school right now and we as parents are trying to support him as much as we can (we didn't have the luxury of having our parents support us going to college or getting a house). We are also encouraging him to live with us (while in college and right after college) as long as he has a stable job and income coming in till he can afford to buy a house. Because we had such high student loan debt my husband and i weren't able to afford our 1st house till we were in our 30s. We don't want our kids to end up like that. So if you can stay at home and save money to buy a car, buy a house, then go for it! It will be worth it for you.
This!
If you have student loans and dont have to pay rent at home, id stay at home for a bit and pay off as much of your loans as you can
Are you in a relationship, want to start a relationship, or on the apps? If so 100% move to Atlanta
Living at home is the smart financial decision, which is going to appeal to 95% of the people on this board, but just remember you are only young once and you can’t get back the opportunity to be a young professional in a new city or the personal growth that comes with that.

That’s a tough one. You’ll be paying rent with your parents, but with your mental health (no matter how great your relationship is). That being said, saving a ton of cash in an economic slump is really appealing.
So you are working remotely? And location will not affect salary? Just checking....
Stay home and maintain the long term goal of saving money for a house at front of mind. I stayed at home for a little after college, worked part time and saved some money, then got married and rented before buying about a year ago. Wish I would have not been in a rush to rent, even though it was nice to have my own space. As long as you’re welcome at home, enjoy it and try to get out and spend time with friends and coworkers to scratch the itch of being away from home
If we weren't in such a crap economy, I'd say head to hotlanta, but given the possibility of a major recession, I think the wiser choice would be to stay with mom and dad for awhile. That way you'll have a nice cushion to fall back on if the economy stays bad for a bit, and if things get a little better, you'll be able to save a little more and build up a nest egg. You also didn't mention whether or not you're straddled with student loans, so assuming that you are (like most of us), that's another good reason to take your parents up on their offer.
Live at home
I think moving to Atlanta would be great. You will be able to grow personally and professionally. If your situation allows you to move to another place, I'd say grab that opportunity.
Generally think NoVA is nicer than Atlanta, but NoVA is fairly expensive. If you can live in NoVA with a higher salary without incurring higher housing costs... that's a big win.
That said, the experience of a new city and "making it on your own" are valuable too. You would probably enjoy your social life more without your parents looking over your shoulder...
Not any easy call to make, but your career should turn out well either way 🙂
