I recently finished up a pretty lengthy interview process. I received a follow up from the recruiter a week later saying they were excited about my candidacy and would be circling back soon with updates. Is it over presumptuous to think I got it?

After an 32 month journey of campus visits, networking events, information sessions, test prep, work negotiation, sponsorship trials, recommendation hunting, test taking, test retaking, admissions interviews, 6 school rejections, and 1 waitlist, I finally got the call two days ago that University of Michigan Stephen M. Ross School of Business Ann Arbor Campus accepted my application and offered me admission to the EMBA program. I am so happy with the acceptance and can’t hardly believe it. AMA!

Just when you start to get out there and get excited about a guy - disappointments hits. I have been talking to this guy for a few months and he’s always shared how he enjoys hanging out with me. I just found out (not through him) that he just had a baby and lives with the baby momma. Why would you drag me along and not share such a life and important event like having a baby! Especially since I know he was eager for kids. Makes me wonder what his intentions where with me. Should I confront him?
