I’m looking for some additional tips and/or specific things to focus on in preparation for the multi-round interview process for a role at Amazon Web Services in what I assume is for one of the cloud services team. From what I’ve gathered, is the interviews are largely based on the leadership principles. However, how do I know which would be asked? which would be more related to the role/or team I’d be on? Exactly what a1 said. Not everyone lives on LinkedIn so just say something like, “I sent a note via LinkedIn but in case you don’t check it often, I wanted to thank you blah blah
Now I got a chance to get the email address after I sent the message on LinkedIn. Should I send another thank you note to the person’s email address?
No, I think one is sufficient. Maybe save emailing them directly for if you have any follow up questions or after the next interview?
No
I would send an email, the same body you sent in the LinkedIn. I don’t think that’s a bad thing. If you want, mention you sent a message on their LinkedIn before you got their email.
Yes. What if they don’t check LinkedIn periodically?
One is enough. Thank you notes do nothing to increase your chances but sending multiple may make you look desperate.
No, what P1 said. Think about the ceiling and floor of sending another thank you. There is clearly more downside and everyone checks their Linkedin now and then so should see it eventually.
