You should connect with wedding photographers and planners - this is great for engagement shoots!!!!

And I ignored your question (sorry - I was excited over your business!) I encourage you to reach out to food incubators. It will give you some options in terms of variety. Up and coming businesses like that are always looking for collaboration opportunities.

You can also reach out to some of the publicists for chefs in the area about opportunities. Depending on your client (and their respective budgets) that is a good way to build those relationships and get the associated press.

Yes! I'd like to have an option for clients who want intimate dinner picnics with a private chef

This is such a great idea! Have you considered Toscana Market as a potential partner? They do great shareable-type stuff Dumb question that popped into my head looking at this concept- how do you mitigate bugs at your picnic site? I’m just thinking of annoying mosquitoes disrupting a luxury picnic experience, lots of citronella candles?

Also thanks for the recommendation. I will reach out!

We use TryHungry to cater premium events at our office. They coordinate with real chefs from restaurants in the area. We’ve had great success coordinating experience-focused dining through them that was really focused on (sometimes live) presentation and guest impact. They’re also relatively new. I would think they’d be a great potential partner. Love your setup in the photo btw!

This was going to be my recommendation as well. Glad to hear you've had a great experience with them M1, my husband is on the tech team! OP, let me know if you'd like a personal introduction to Hungry, I can share some emails to connect you with them.

Just curious how you started the business within compliance requirements? Lol they’re draconian

With the holidays coming up, partners and client relationship owners, do you get your clients gifts? Pre-COVID we sent treats to the office, but most of my clients are still home. Would it be appropriate to send gifts directly to them? If so, any ideas on things/price limits?

2 years out of undergrad and planning to apply next year. I had a great relationship with an SM and decent with a partner, but since starting remote work due to COVID I have had virtually no face time with leadership bc of the size of my team and my responsibilities. Mostly just venting but ugh how do I get LORs!!

This one is for folks on h1b visa. So at time when you have an offer in hand(not accepted the offer yet and h1b transfer process not yet begun) while you are working with your current employer, do you even speak to your employer about your new offer to see if they make a counter offer? Is there a risk involved with this approach assuming your current employer doesn't provide you with a counter offer and they ask you to leave immediately (and your h1b visa hasn't been transferred either)

Advice on how to encourage more from a team member that does the bare minimum? They often aren’t very responsive online and a simple task will go on for days with little improvement. This is an individual I’m managing from another consulting firm, so the dynamic is different than your typical team.. so I’m not totally sure if it’s even in my wheelhouse to reprimand when it’s warranted. For weeks now I’ve been picking up the slack. My personality is not to be a hard-ass Manager. Help!
