Ask your former employer (the one where you did an internship) if they have any full time opportunities? A good place to start is the recruiter. If you performed well, I’m sure they would want you back on board.

Yes good point I did do this already

Sorry to hear you’re going through this. What about the job itself has caused you to lose sleep-anything fixable? Are they requiring you to move closer to work (HCoL city)? At the end of the day you gotta do what’s best for your mental health and your long term career growth. If your current employer had to downsize they may drop you without second thought. No one will judge you for job hopping as long as you do it right, don’t burn bridges and frame it right in your interviews.

Ah. I’m kind of in the same boat and want to hop although it might not look great on my resume only being there a few weeks. Do what makes you happy and feels liken a growth in your career, jump ship bc after you do it won’t matter you hopped. I’ve tried a few things in my recent interviews, saying I’m looking for a transition to x type of company/industry within the next year and I don’t think that’s been landing well. Makes them think I’m unhappy and would be unhappy there. Recently testing I’m freelancing on contract with my current employer and looking for a permanent role as my key project here will wrap in a few weeks 🤞🏽 Once I do hop I’m going to list my current role as contract.

I have interviewed w/ every member of an early stage start up & have an offer to join as their 1st hire. I just don't trust their technical co-founder to be able to execute or attract the right talent, so I'm going to walk away from it. I trust the other co-founder though and want to be honest. Should I be blunt when saying why? Would anyone here have actually appreciated to hear this if you were in a leadership position at a start up, or is co-founder status too late to make a change anyway?

Hi everyone, I need your advice. I've been interviewing with MBB and Tier 2 firms over the past few years. However I was never well prepared for case studies. I now decided to take 6-8 months and seriously prepare for cases/mental math and try them again next year. I currently have Victor Chengs book and few others. What else would you recommend for me? How can i lay out a plan to study? Any source you can recommend free or paid?

It’s been a grueling 18 months, for everyone. There’s a unique story I’d like to share and it’s my own but I have to believe it’s not only mine. I was privileged enough to be able to WFH during the pandemic and change jobs to a fully remote job during this time. The isolation has become so complete, with the lack of connection and professional rapport or daily respect/clarity thru slack convos and sporadic zoom - I’m at an all time mental low barely able to start this Monday morning.
